Berlin 1933. This is the story of three friends: Martin and Elsa, -a newlywed couple linked to the world of German cinema at the time-, and Leo, a theater actor of Jewish descent.

The three share a happy life in the 1930s. The cinema at the UFA studios, the theater and the Berlin cabarets... But all this will be cut short by the rise of Nazism to power.

During four specific periods between 1933 and 1946, we witness the passage of time and its consequences in the lives of these three characters. One night an event will take place that will definitively mark their relationship and the destiny of each of them.

A story that presents us with a dilemma that is difficult to solve and that we can find ourselves in at any time in history.
