In 2019, the 80th anniversary of the end of the Spanish Civil War was celebrated. Eight decades in which the first 40 years were under the dictatorial mandate of the winning side.

As the second production with the theme of background memory, -after 'Shakespeare in Berlin'-, we wanted the action to take place in our country. From that sad episode there is much to remember, much to forgive and absolutely nothing to forget, after a terrible fight whose wound is still open.

This theatrical production wants to pay tribute to the men and women who gave their lives for an ideal; who thought that art was the best witness to memory and therefore it was something that had to be preserved, defended and bequeathed.
